Setting-up custom 404 page

Apart of using default 404 page on your website, you can create beautiful & functional page using WPBakery Page Builder (formerly: Visual Composer) and set it as your website 404 page in Ueldo WordPress theme options.

  • go to “Pages” – “Add new” on your WordPress admin panel, and add new page (as usual), fill it with content you want to use on 404 page and publish it;
  • after that, go to “Ueldo” – “Theme Options” and find “404 page” option;
  • choose your new page on selection list, and click on “Save changes” blue button at the end of theme options page.

After that, your new 404 page is correctly set and should be displayed always when your website will return 404 Not Found error.

Use one of the built-in 404 pages

You can create your 404 page content from scratch, or you can use one of built-in 404 pages from any demo template available with this theme. While being on page content editor, click on “Ueldo: Add Predefined Sections” button, choose “Pages” under “Elements type” selection, and “404 page” under “Pages type”.
