Legible Google map displayed on your website is one of the most important element for your customers. Ueldo WordPress theme comes with built-in powerful features which will helps you to get functional Google map, with single or multiple markers, locations and more.
How to manage Google map?
Login to your WordPress admin panel, go to “Ueldo” – “Theme Options” page and find “Google maps” option. You can do all of your settings there!
Google maps API key
This is required by Google to add API key to the maps script on your website. Generate your API key for Google maps and put it to the “API key” field in this option group, and save changes – after that your maps will be correctly displayed on your website.
Google map configuration
Click on “Add new map” button to add new map or edit existing one. You can set your map title and its center latitude and longitude (find out how to get map coordinates here). Choose the map zoom value and after that, you can add markers to your new map.
You can add as many markers as you want – simply click on “Add new marker” button and put the marker coordinates values (latitude and longitude), set marker title and choose how do you want your marker to looks like:
- default – default Google map marker
- as image – add any image you want to use instead of default Google map marker,
- as icon – choose any icon available on your website (you can use flaticon icons), set custom icon size, styles & colors
